I am a writer, reporting live from the intersection of instinct and intellect. No, not a peaceful place but I came on purpose. Inspired by the philosophies of antiquity and by our futile endeavour to survive, to evolve and to fit into a community, I live to map those unsettling emotions we struggle to name. I love precision in word choice but believe that what burns deepest speaks in the simplest language. I like to think my PhD in Behavioural Genetics and Evolution vindicated my introspective voice and curiosity about the urges that make us us. Based in Oslo, Norway, I am active within its writing community as a board member, currently refining my second long-form project and drafting short stories. Above all, I love long sentences and my pen will always be a fierce advocate for women’s, LGBTQ+ rights, and for freedom of speech.
